New volunteer dispatched by JICA

On August 3, Mr. MASHITA Kazunobu, new Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV), who has been dispatched by JICA under the first batch of JOCV in FY2026 to the Federated States of Micronesia paid a courtesy call to our embassy.
Mr. MASHITA will be dispatched to the Lemear community of Yap State. He will plan events and training sessions at the community center currently under construction, thereby ensuring its effective utilization and revitalizing the community.
The Embassy hopes that the new volunteer will contribute to the development of the Federated States of Micronesia and achieve great results.
