Ambassador of Ireland visits Ambassador Kagomiya

On May 27, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Emma HICKEY, Ambassador of Ireland, newly accredited to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Ambassador HICKEY is a non-resident Ambassador with residence in Manila, Philippines.
The Ambassadors discussed the friendly bilateral relations between Japan and Ireland, and the friendly relations between their own countries and the FSM. They also discussed the economy and development cooperation, and how Japan and Ireland can cooperate with each other and with the FSM.
Furthermore, on May 26, Ambassador Kagomiya and the diplomatic corps attended the Presentation of Credential Ceremony for H.E. Emma HICKEY, who presented her Credentials to His Excellency Wesley W. Simina, President of the FSM.
