French Ambassador for the Pacific visits Ambassador Kagomiya

On April 16, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Véronique Roger-Lacan, Ambassador of France for the Pacific. Ambassador Roger-Lacan resides in New Caledonia and oversees the Pacific region.
The Ambassadors discussed the friendly bilateral relations between Japan and France, and the friendly relations between their own countries and the FSM, as well as the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Member States. They also discussed the economy and development cooperation, and how Japan and France can cooperate with each other and with the FSM.
