Pohnpei Cultural Day

On March 31, Ambassador Kagomiya attended the Pohnpei Cultural Day event.
The event was joined by traditional leaders, state government officials, municipality representatives, and members of the diplomatic corps. After Sakau was served, traditional dances and songs from the municipalities of Pohnpei were performed.
In his remarks, Governor Joseph of Pohnpei State reaffirmed the importance of preserving culture and tradition in modern society with the citizens, concluding with a vision of bringing lasting stability to future generations.
Ambassador Kagomiya expressed gratitude for the invitation to the event and conveyed his hopes for the continued development of the Federated States of Micronesia as a whole.
