Ambassador of Türkiye visits Ambassador Kagomiya

On February 5, 2026, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call from His Excellency Oğuzhan ERTUĞRUL, Ambassador of Türkiye, newly accredited to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Ambassador ERTUĞRUL is a non-resident Ambassador with residence in Tokyo, Japan.
The Ambassadors discussed the friendly bilateral relations between Japan and Türkiye, and the friendly relations between their own countries and the FSM. They also discussed the economy and development cooperation, and how Japan and Türkiye can cooperate with each other and with the FSM.
Furthermore, on February 6, Ambassador Kagomiya and the diplomatic corps attended the Presentation of Credential Ceremony for H.E. Oğuzhan ERTUĞRUL, who presented his Credentials to His Excellency Wesley W. Simina, President of the FSM.
