A New Volunteer Dispatched by JICA

On January 12, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call from Ms. Minami Haga, a JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV) newly dispatched to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) as the second batch for the fiscal year 2025. Ms. Haga will be assigned to Saladak Elementary School in Pohnpei State, where she will teach mathematics and physical education. Ms. Haga has extensive experience living abroad, including working at schools in Viet Nam and Indonesia, and is expected to achieve great results in her activities in the FSM by utilizing these experiences.
