International Day of Persons with Disabilities

On December 3, 2025, Ambassador Kagomiya and his wife Kumiko participated in the ceremony for International Day of Persons with Disabilities held by Pohnpei State Government. Community members, students, government officials, and members of the diplomatic corps gathered at the meeting where students exhibited musical performances.
Lieutenant Governor Herolyn S. Movick of Pohnpei State and other participants called for the empowerment of persons of disabilities and emphasized the importance of social inclusion, with which Ambassador strongly sympathized.
