Diplomatic Friendship Games of Softball

On October 23 to 25, the Embassy of Japan in Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) organized a team Japan and participated in the Diplomatic Friendship Games of softball.
This tournament served as a valuable opportunity to deepen friendships and promote goodwill through sports with the FSM Department of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Corps such as the Australian Embassy and international organizations including the Pacific Community (SPC), the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) and various organization of the United Nations with whom we regularly engage.
Our team, consisting of Embassy staff, JICA staffs and JICA volunteers, Embassy staff, and their family and relatives, competed with great determination and teamwork. Thanks to the collective effort and dedication of all team members, and the warm support we received, we emerged the championship.
This event was a significant occasion to build stronger bonds and foster deeper understanding with fellow diplomatic missions through the spirit of sports. We remain committed to contributing to the development of friendly relations in the international community through various exchange activities.
