Women's Charter Day of Madolenihmw

On June 21, 2025, Ambassador Kagomiya, his wife, and an Embassy staff attended the Celebration event of Women's Charter Day of Madolenihmw.
The wives of the traditional leaders, Mayor of Madolenihmw, Senator of Pohnpei State Legislature, the Director of Court Administration of the FSM Supreme Court, Representatives of Pohnpei Women’s Council and the Diplomatic Corps attended the event – ‘A Day to celebrate the group of united women in Madolenihmw’ with the theme ‘Be United and Be Strong'.
All the participants enjoyed the traditional dances and the group vocal performances performed by the youth group and the united women’s group of the municipality.
We sincerely hope that gender equality and empowerment of women will be truly realized in the FSM.
