Kitti Agriculture Fair and Cultural Day

 
 On March 31 2025, on the occasion of Pohnpei Cultural Day, Ambassador Kagomiya attended the Kitti Agriculture Fair and Cultural Day at Nanpei Memorial High School.
 
After the opening ceremony with Sakau being served and the presentation of a local pig, which was to be roasted, the participants had an opportunity to witness and buy a variety of local agricultural products and enjoyed various local dances and songs.
 
The traditional leaders, state and municipal leaders, member of the diplomatic corps as well as the local people enjoyed the event.
 
Attending the event, Ambassador Kagomiya was impressed by a substantial potential in agriculture and the rich cultural traditions of the FSM.
