A courtesy call by new and leaving JICA Volunteers

On February 12, 2025, Ms. Urara Hayashida and Ms. Miho Yoshioka, new JICA volunteers, and Ms. Saho Higuchi, a JICA volunteer leaving the FSM, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Kagomiya.
Ms. Hayashida, a professor at Kio University, and Ms. Yoshioka, a doctoral course student at Kagawa University, are working for the nursing program at the College of Micronesia, focusing on gerontological nursing.
The Ambassador sincerely hopes that their contribution will help further progress of the nursing program.
Ms. Higuchi has worked for the National Department of Environment, Climate Change and Emergency Management focusing on environmental education.
She has made a substantial contribution to the environmental education in the FSM.
For example, she carried out environmental awareness survey in all four states and compiled a survey report on environmental education.
The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to her.
