A Japanese Fisheries Training Vessel

On November 12, 2024, Ambassador Kagomiya made a courtesy call on ‘Koyomaru’, a fisheries training vessel of the National Fisheries University, Japan, which visited the Pohnpei port.
More than 50 students with more than 30 crews are carrying out a training of navigation and fisheries as well as scientific research on the vessel in the Northern Pacific Ocean for more than two months since October, during which they enjoyed the visit to the city of Kolonia for several days.
The Ambassador warmly welcomed them to the FSM and watched their ship with interest.
