The students from Ritsumeikan University, as part of the group 'natuRable,' and the students from Reitaku University, as part of the group 'Japanesia,' have been actively engaged in efforts to address environmental issues in the FSM. natuRable plans to conduct awareness activities regarding environmental issues through the local radio station, to organize cultural exchange events such as yukata (Japanese traditional clothes) dressing and a sports festival, and to visit governmental organizations. Japanesia is scheduled to hold workshops on waste separation at several elementary schools, and to carry out field surveys.
