Ambassador Kagomiya's Visit to Kosrae State (2) Handover Ceremony of ODA projects

On August 28, 2024, a handover ceremony for waste management equipment and medical equipment, which the Japanese Government recently donated to the Kosrae State, was held with the attendance of T.H. Tulensa W. Palik, Governor of the Kosrae State, and T.H. Arthy G. Nena, Lieutenant Governor of the Kosrae State, and T.H. Semeon J. Phillip, Speaker of the Kosrae State Legislature, as well as the Ambassador Kagomiya.

Japan donated various waste management equipment including a cargo truck, an aluminum can baler, a glass crusher, and a hand pallet truck, as well as various medical equipment including an autoclave, emergency carts, bedside monitors, and stretchers.

In the ceremony, the equipment that the Government of Japan donated was demonstrated by a video. The embassy wishes these will help people in Kosrae.
