Goodwill Exercise by Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and the FSM

On May 24, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call by the Indo-Pacific Deployment 2024(IPD24) unit of JMSDF. The unit conducted a goodwill exercise for boarding inspection and boat maintenance with the Maritime Wing, FSM National Police. This is the first exercise with the Maritime Wing, FSM National Police for the JMSDF. The ambassador extended his gratitude to the unit for the joint exercise and expressed his wish for deepening friendship between the two countries via the exercise.
