Ambassador Kagomiya paid a courtesy call on T.H. Gardenia Aisek, Secretary of the Department of Education of the FSM

On June 7, 2024, Ambassador Kagomiya paid a courtesy call on T.H. Gardenia Aisek, Secretary of the Department of Education of the FSM. T. H. secretary Aisek expressed her appreciation for the Government of Japan for its assistance to education in the FSM, such as the scholarship provided by the Government of Japan and volunteer teachers dispatched by JICA. Ambassador Kagomiya agreed on the idea that education is a critical investment for nation development in the long term and emphasized that the Government of Japan will further strengthen its cooperation education in the FSM.
