Ambassador Kagomiya paid a courtesy call on Mr. Wayne Mendiola, Acting Secretary of the Department of Education of the FSM

On April 4, 2024, Ambassador Kagomiya paid a courtesy call on Mr. Wayne Mendiola, Acting Secretary of the Department of Education of the FSM. Mr. Mendiola expressed his appreciation for the Government of Japan for its assistance to education in the FSM, such as the scholarship provided by the Government of Japan. Ambassador Kagomiya agreed with Mr. Mendiola’s idea that technology will promote equal access to education and expressed his willingness to contribute to education in the FSM.
