On February 13, Ambassador Kagomiya paid a courtesy call on T.H. Rose N. Nakanaga, Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration.
Secretary Nakanaga welcomed Ambassador Kagomiya’s assumption of his new duty and introduced to him her family history that her family has roots in the family of poet, Shiki Masaoka, from Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The Secretary explained the financial situation and recent reform of the FSM. Ambassador Kagomiya expressed his gratitude for warm welcome extended from Secretary Nakanaga and his volition to contribute to economic development of the FSM.
