On February 13, Ambassador Kagomiya paid a courtesy call on T.H. Elina P. Akinaga, Secretary of the Department of Resources and Development.
Secretary Akinaga welcomed Ambassador Kagomiya’s assumption of his new duty, explained various efforts by the FSM for the economic and social development and expressed her gratitude for assistances to the FSM by the Government of Japan for long years. Ambassador Kagomiya expressed his gratitude for warm welcome extended from Secretary Akinaga and his volition to contribute to development in the FSM.
