Ambassador Kagomiya, and Ms. Higuchi
On February 1, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call from Ms. Saho Higuchi, a newly assigned Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer. Ms. Higuchi will work in the field of environmental education including education tours to schools in various regions at the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Emergency Management (DECEM) with her working experience in Japan.
Ambassador Kagomiya gave his encouraging message to her in the hope that she could adapt herself to local life in Pohnpei shortly and do her work well in a good health. He also encouraged her enjoy her activities in the field of environmental education, which is one of the most important areas for the country and will strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
