Courtesy call by students from Reitaku University
2024/2/7

On February 6, Ambassador Kagomiya received a courtesy call by Professor Matshushima and two students from Reitaku University in Japan. Students from Reitaku University started conducting projects to address the environment issues in the FSM as a part of its self-designed seminars 11 years ago. This is the first visit in four years since the University suspended its projects after the outbreak of COVID-19. They will stay at the student dormitory of College of Micronesia (COM) and conduct research and advocacy activities in the form of their “project-based learning” relating to the environment issues.
