Joint Presidential Inauguration of the Federated States of Micronesia and the attendance of Keiji Furuya, Ambassador on Special Mission

From July 24 to 26, Keiji Furuya, Ambassador on Special Mission ( also Member of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Japan-Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) Parliamentary Friendship League, and Chairman of the Japan-Pacific Island Countries Parliamentary Friendship League) visited the FSM to attend the joint presidential inauguration ceremony.
Ambassador Furuya and Ambassador Michigami paid a courtesy call on H.E. Wesley W. Simina, President of the FSM on July 24th. They also met with H.E. David W. Panuelo, former President of the FSM, and T.H. Esmond B. Moses, Speaker of the Congress of the FSM on July 25th. On July 26th, they paid a courtesy call on H.E. Peter M. Christian, Senator of the FSM and former president of the FSM.
On July 26th, Ambassador Furuya and Ambassador Michigami attended the joint presidential inauguration ceremony held in the Congress of the FSM at Palikir.
