Reconstruction from Great East Japan Earthquake ~10 Years since 3.11.2011~

2021/3/12
Ten years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. The Great East Japan Earthquake, which caused unprecedented human and property damage, took over 20,000 lives due to the earthquake and tsunami. Even now, ten years after the earthquake, reconstruction work in the affected areas, and reputational damage on and restrictions of import of Japanese food products due to the aftermath of TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident remain. Please see the link below for the current status of reconstruction, materials on safety of Japanese food products, and a video message from the affected area that conveys gratitude for reconstruction assistance and the situation of the area.
