Application for Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship Program for Teacher Training Students (2021) is now open

The Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) offers scholarships to international teachers who wish to conduct research on school education at designated Japanese universities as Teacher Training Students for academic year 2021. While the program will take place in Japanese, a Japanese language course may be offered depending on successful candidates’ Japanese ability.
Applicants must be graduates of universities or of teacher training schools and have worked as teachers at elementary or secondary educational institutions or teacher trainings schools for in principle five years in total, as of October 1, 2021.
