On October 18th, five new JICA volunteers paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Horie.
Ms. Chihiro Nakajima will work as a nutritionist at Department of Health services, Yap state.
Ms. Marie Horiguchi will assist local teachers at Kolonia elementary school in Pohnpei state.
Mr. Atsushi Sakane will assist solid waste management at Department of Public Works and Transportation, Yap state.
Ms. Kumi Ohashi will work as a nurse at Yap state hospital.
Ms. Chie Nishida will work as a pharmacist at Kosrae state hospital.
Ambassador Horie encouraged new volunteers to communicate well with colleagues and act actively at their workplace.
