Visa Fee (from April 1, 2024)

　Visa fees have been revised from April 1, 2024 as follows;
   Visa fees must be paid for in cash.
   *For the persons who applied by March 31, 2024, the fee for 2023 would be effective.

  Single-Entry Visa

  • Indian Nationals: 
 6 USD   (2023: 6 USD)
  • Other Nationals: 
 22 USD   (2023: 22 USD)

  Multiple-Entry Visa

  • Indian Nationals: 
 6 USD   (2023: 6 USD)
  • Other Nationals: 
 43 USD   (2023: 44 USD)

Transit Visa

  • Indian Nationals: 
 1 USD   (2023: 1 USD)
  • Other Nationals: 
 5 USD   (2023: 5 USD)

Notes:
  1) The visa fee may be waived, if visiting Okinawa.
  2) The visa fee may be waived, if visiting, living, working or studying in Miyagi, Fukushima or Iwate prefectures. 

  Visa Exemptions (Short-Term Stay)

   Nationals and citizens of those countries and regions (here) are not required to obtain visas to enter Japan when their visits are tourism, commerce, conferences, visiting relatives/ acquaintances, etc.
