Japanese Government Scholarship

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of the Government of Japan offers scholarships to Micronesian students and teachers who wish to study or conduct research at Japanese universities.

1-year Japanese Language Program provided if necessary (6 months for Research Students and Teacher Training Students)

*Note: Research Students and Teacher Training Students do not need to take the exam.

Japanese-Language Program for Overseas Students (Offered by Japan Foundation)

The Japan Foundation offers the Japanese-Language Program for Overseas Students to students in the FSM with outstanding Japanese language skills an opportunity to visit Japan to deepen their knowledge about Japanese language and culture.

●Period and Location

Program Period: two weeks in September
Location of Training and Accommodation: Osaka, Japan

Students who are studying Japanese
