On September 27th, two JICA volunteers who have completed their 2 years duty paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Horie.
Mr. Hirotaka Mori assisted Yap Sports Complex in organizing Micro Games 2018 which was held in Yap State in June. He also played an important role to increase public awareness on health benefits of regular exercise by visiting schools and conducting workshops at Yap state hospital.
Mr. Noriaki Murao maintained cold chain vaccine management at Department of Health and Social Affairs in Palikir. He also assisted in drafting the pharmaceutical affairs law and has conducted research in non communicable diseases in Pohnpei State.
Ambassador Horie appreciated their great work and encouraged them to take advantage of their experience in the FSM in the future.
