Emergency Assistance from Japan Delivered and Utilized in Chuuk and Yap States

Water purifiers and water tanks donated by Japan have been delivered through JICA with an assistance of IOM are utilized in Chuuk and Yap States,which were severely hit by Typhoon Maysak.
According to the IOM report, these items provided by Japanese emergency assistance are utilized in the health dispensaries in the most vulnerable lagoon island of Chuuk such as Piis and Fono, and also at shelters and communities with non-drinkable water in Ulithi Atoll and Fais Island of Yap
