Courtesy Call on Ambassador Sobashima by New JICA Volunteers

On 12^th December, 3 new JICA volunteers paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Sobashima.

Ms. Itazu Ayako will belong to the Pohnpei Public Health in Pohnpei State and work on nutrition improvement.

Mr. Egashira Kou will teach tennis in Pohnpei State through the National Olympic Committee (NOC).

Mr. Takahashi Akifumi will belong to the NOC for swimming instruction. This is his second posting in Pohnpei.

Ambassador Sobashima stated that the activities of JICA Volunteers were highly appreciated in the FSM, and encouraged the new volunteers to make their respective contributions. Mr. Shibata, JICA Resident Representative and the Embassy staff responsible also attended at the meeting.
