Japanese Language Program participant pays Courtesy Call on Ambassador Sakai after completing training course

The 2013-2014 participant of the Japanese Language Program for Foreign-Service Officers/Public Officials paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Masaki Sakai at Embassy of Japan on June 10, 2014 after completing his training course in Osaka, Japan.
Mr. Jefferson Saul who is employed by the office of Environment Protection Agency (EPA) returned to Pohnpei on May 19 after spending eight months studying Japanese language. In this program, Mr. Saul had opportunities to visit various cities in Japan and participated in many cultural activities like Home Visit, and make friends with Japanese and other participants from more than thirty countries. He expressed strong will to continue studying Japanese language to build up his skills. Ambassador Sakai encouraged him to seek learning materials online so that he will not forget what he has obtained in Japan. The Ambassador also wished that he shares his experiences with colleagues and members of his community to inspire them to experience and visit Japan.
