2012 Participant for the Japanese Language Program pays Courtesy Call on Ambassador Suzuki

Ms. Debbie Welles, the 2012 participant of the Japanese-language program hosted by The Japan　Foundation paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Suzuki on August 23, 2012. She is scheduled to　leave on the 28th of this month and will be there for the next two weeks. This program will offer　her a chance to learn more about the language and culture of Japan. Throughout her stay she will be paying a home visit to some of the local residents and given opportunities to visit Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Kyushu Area in Japan.

During the visit, Ambassador Suzuki encouraged her not only to learn about the Japanese language, but also to get to know the Japanese culture. Ms. Welles expressed her thanks and told Ambassador Suzuki that she will bring back many stories and cultural insight to her friends and family.
