Students from Konan City Visited Embassy of Japan

10 Japanese students from Hotei Jr. High School in Konan city, Aichi Prefecture visited Embassy of Japan in the FSM. The Students asked Ambassador Suzuki about the four states of the FSM which have different histories and cultures or the people’s life in the FSM.

After the Nan Madol tour, they visited the students at the national campus of College of Micronesia who visited Konan city last June to deepen their friendship. They also had an opportunity to join in a class at Pohnpei Island Central School.

Moreover, they received heartfelt welcome from the people at U village with the local dance. They visited local homes for one day home staying, and also experienced traditions like mwaramwar making.
The beauty of the nature in Micronesia made a deep impression on them.
