Country Assistance Policy for the Federated States of Micronesia

The Government of Japan has decided on the Country Assistance Policy for the Federated States of Micronesia. It will be shared between Japan and the FSM officials for efficient and effective assistances.

The Country Assistance Policy is a document which lays down Japan’s country-specific aid policy with a view to further enhance strategic value, efficiency, transparency and accountability of Official Development Assistance (ODA). In formulating the Country Assistance Policy, the opinions of the “Country-Based ODA Task Force” which is composed mainly of members of the Embassy of Japan, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) office and Overseas Fishery Cooperation Foundation (OFCF) office are taken into consideration.
