Application for Japanese Government Scholarship for Teacher Training Students is now open(2017)

The Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture (MEXT) of Government of Japan offers scholarships to foreign teachers who wish to conduct research on school education at Japanese universities. Applicants must be graduates of universities or teacher training schools and have worked as teachers at primary or secondary educational institutions or teacher trainings schools (excluding universities) in their home countries for five years in total as of April 1, 2017. In-service university faculty members are not eligible.

・Examination and Intervew
Date: Friday, March 3rd, 2017
Place: Embassy of Japan in Kolonia, Pohnpei (2F One World Plaza.)
Time: the Examination will start at 9:00AM, but we ask that all applicants be at the Embassy at 8:45AM for orientation.

-English written examination (1 hour)
-Japanese written examination (2hours)
-Interview (15-20 min)
